Ways Teens can Change the World

Many people think teenagers are the same as children. They don't see them as young adults or people who are about to take the next steps into life. Adults don't see the potential teenagers have and what they can offer the world. Just like people didn't believe in Taylor Wilson, other teenagers are not given the opportunities to succeed beyond high school and college. Although teenagers might not have the skills to create a nuclear fusion device like Taylor Wilson, they do have the potential to create new things that can turn into something amazing. An idea a teenager has could stay an idea through high school but turn into a new invention with years to come. Teenagers can help the world by even doing the littlest things like recycle. It might not seem that big to them, but if they all do they could impact the world in a big way.

Best Friend Ad

                                LOOKING FOR A BEST FRIEND

I am looking for a best friend who has many of the same qualities that I do.  They have to be athletic so that when I complain about sports they know exactly what I'm talking about and start complaining with me. You have to have a sarcastic sense of humor and not take things too seriously since I am always sarcastic and do not mean most of the things I say. I drink about 1-2 cups of coffee a day so you will have to either be a coffee drinker or be willing to try it and see if you like it. I want you to always tell the truth and be brutally honest even if you think I wont like it because I would rather hear it from you than someone else. As long as you have these qualities you have the potential to be my new best friend so please contact me if you are interested in having a meeting.

Green Grass

No one understands me. All I ever do is just sit still on the ground. What people don't see is I'm just like humans, When I don't get water I die But they never seem to get that I get haircuts just like them Just with more powerful scissors I get stomped on and put down But with a little help from the sun and the rain I always manage to become green again Humans will never see me this way To them I'm just a place to run around and play games on No one ever understands me.

Education

I have always been the type of student who enjoyed going to the elective classes instead of the core academics. Running around in gym seemed to be a lot more fun than learning 2+2=4 in math and reading chapters and chapters of books in english. Once we stopped having to learn the basic information in elementary school, education started to excite me alot more. I liked sitting in history and learning about what people did before us. Even though most of the people we learn about arent alive anymore, it gives us a sense of connection to them. Learning about what is happening in the world around us helps us think about how other people, who might be across the earth, are living completley different lives than us. Since not many teenagers like reading the paper or watching the news, learning about these different things in school can give us a new outlook on our lives and how different we all are from one another.

Courage

I have been going up to New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesauke ever since I could remember. Right down the street from my house there is a massive bridge connecting the mainland with an island. Every year, the members of my family go up to the top of the bridge to jump off of it. Every year, I wait in the boat for them to come back. I am never able to jump off the bridge. A few years ago I decided to work up enough courage to actually jump off the bridge. I wanted to prove to myself that I could actually do it. I now am able to jump off the bridge with no hesitation.
